What we'll talk about
Come get a taste of the Philosophy Club, which happens every other Tuesday at the International House.
Our motivation for this group is to create an informal public space to discuss, with a critical eye, the complex questions that are meaningful to us and our lives, with the support of the unique perspectives each of us can bring to the table. We aim to hopefully leave each discussion with a new relation to the topics and themes discussed, and with new avenues of exploration and questions regarding them.
No prior background or formal training in philosophy is required to join; everyone and anyone is very welcome!

Nicolas and Reinier
Hi I am Reinier, a Dutchman, living most of his life in Belgium. Working as head of sales for a telco company during daytime, at night I turn into an IHL volunteer. Started up and still hosting the Tuesday Night Philosophy Club and the After Work Drinks for almost 2 years now!
Hi, I'm Nicolas. Though I was born in Belgium, I lived abroad for a long time in Shanghai. I'm an electronics engineer during the day and an amateur philosopher in the evenings.
There are no reservations, it's a first come first served event, so be there on time to avoid disappointment!
