What we'll talk about
Join Alec in the lobby to depart on a guided tour of the local library in the city center (aka De Bib Tweebronen). If you are sometimes overwhelmed by going to the library and get lost in all the literature, this tour is the perfect chance to get your bearings for the next time you visit the library.
After a short walk through the city he will show you the hidden entrance on the Diestsestraat and then show you how to best navigate De Bib. He will show you the different sections, where to get an e-reader, and even books specifically for Dutch learners!
Some of the library employees will be present to give a quick intro to the systems of the Bib and you can even get a library card right on the spot!

Alec is an international Leuvenaar from the USA who is passionate about the local library and all it has to offer! Alec came to Belgium nearly 4 years ago to do a Masters at KU Leuven and stayed for work. If you're curious about transportation, architecture, history, philosphy, good places to eat in Leuven, or cooking, Alec will gladly chat with you about all those things! In exchange for your favorite recipe from your home country of course.
